Suddenly, I was in demand to give seminars and workshops
at other venues, and people unaware of my processing and printing
service naturally began to 'phone assuming that my company
title meant that I gave teaching workshops. So there I was,
holding up a dripping floppy fibre 20x16 draining over the
developer dish, when the 'phone would go outside! I would
scrap the print and rush outside to hear someone enquiring
about coming on one of my workshops.
Of course, even as dumb as I was, it finally dawned on me
that this was what people wanted more than a printing service.
So I started doing this instead a lot of the time, as well
as writing. Hence my second company title of 'Development
Coaching'. As you will see from the pictures here, I don't
have the space for multi-person classes, so I actually carried
out personal coaching sessions for one or two people at a
time. This means very personal attention, and we can go at
the person's own speed.
Now, though, I have become so overworked teaching elsewhere,
writing, and making and despatching DiXactol (and developing
some other very interesting photo processing solutions) that
I simply haven't time to give personal workshops any more.
I am really sorry to have to turn away so many would-be workshop
participants, but there are only 24 hours in a day!
So why not have a look round my place in pictures.
