Brilliance in black & white for you

Mini-print comparison pack of inks/papers

One of the dominant questions I am asked at every workshop is ‘which specialist monochrome ink and paper should I use?’ It can be a big investment when you opt for one or other of the monochrome ink systems, and it is difficult to change, especially if you choose the economy and convenience of a continuous ink feed system. Which gives the best tonality, the deepest black? And what colour do the variable tones produce? Here is a pack of A6 prints produced with various specialist mono inks on various different papers so you can see the difference. The accompanying notes sum up the advantages/disadvantages of the systems to help you make a choice for printers up to A3+. £11 inc. p&p UK (Europe £12, USA/Canada £13, Rest of World £14)
