Exactol Lux Developer

Exactol Lux

Right across the world expert photographers using DiXactol™ and pyro type developers like PMK have discovered the advantages of tanning and staining developers that were standard for the master photographers of the 19th century. Where DiXactol™ gave, and now diXactol Ultra™ gives, extreme definition and ultimate tanning, it requires special handling with some older type film emulsions prone to fog, and in smaller formats the super-high definition grain can become prominent if processing is slightly out. Now there is the answer for photographers wanting the same basic characteristics, but with a bias to finer grain with rich and subtely graduated tones rather than ultra-definition. Exactol Lux gives high tanning, even greater stain (a VERY rich and effective brown), higher definition than any developer other than diXACTOL Ultra™, noticeably finer grain, and clearer film base even with old-style emulsions. Like diXactol Ultra™, it offers a single time for all types of film, but unlike diXactol Ultra™ it can be used with high speed films like Delta and T-Max 3200. It comes in two 100ml packs (A+B) of concentrate which dilute 1:1:100 with water for a basic capacity of over 30 films. It can be diluted even further for greater sharpness, compensation, and economy, and for use with Technical Pan. It can even be used as a two bath as well. It is a unique formulation not available in under any other name from any other source, and it provides a CHOICE of approach to photographers.
