Brilliance in black & white
for you
| DiLUXOL ULTRA
FINE GRAIN TWO BATH DEVELOPER, BUT WITH DEFINITION |
| If you want the same smooth fine grained tones
as Luxol above, but with the automatic contrast control of a
two bath AND crisp definition, you can now use DiLuxol which
is Luxol in a two bath formulation. In it you can give most
films the same development time, and precise control of development
time and temperature isn't important. It is very tolerant by
automatically aiming to develop negatives of different subject
brightness ranges to the same easily printable negative density
range. This makes it possible to develop roll or 35mm film with
mixed contrast scenes to produce negatives that will print with
well graduated tones, enhanced shadow separation, and restrained
highlights on a narrower range of contrast grades of paper with
less burning and dodging. This is VERY helpful to photographers
choosing to use automatic exposure in their cameras because
they do not wish to use the precise exposure and development
controls of the Zone System, or when rapidly moving subjects
or changing lighting conditions make such precision control
impossible. DiLuxol gives these advantages over its single bath
stable-mate, Luxol, but with a small loss of speed of 1/3 stop
comparatively. It has though the extended long life expected
of a two bath. |
